Regional Partnerships for Library Development are expected to provide institutional support to the implementation of the Library Development Program oriented toward helping primarily all the small libraries that are far away from the centers of culture and have no access to modern technologies. The aim is to create a favorable climate for projects with a very concrete, material dimension: the provision of computer hardware and Internet access and the development of librarian skills. The Partnership is assumed to be open to all institutions that are willing to participate in it.
