Libraries in the Program

On June 28th, 2009 we concluded the two-month recruitment to the first round of the Program. As many as 955 libraries from all over Poland applied. Our applicants included communal libraries with all their branches, which means 2884 library outlets in total. Libraries could apply as Leading Libraries (255 applications) or Partner Libraries (700 applications).

 
In the end, the first recruitment round appoints 153 partnerships (610 libraries) that will take part in the Program. Each partnership consists of a Leading Library (with branch units) and its three Partner Libraries (also with branch units). The first round of the Program will benefit a total of 1865 library outlets. 
 
The second round of recruitment will take place in autumn 2010.
